"Doctor Who" season 8 has just begun, and a brand new preview has landed for episode 3 of the series.

"In a sun-dappled Sherwood forest, the Doctor discovers an evil plan from beyond the stars and strikes up an unlikely alliance with Robin Hood," reads the official episode synopsis. "With all of Nottingham at stake, the Doctor must decide who is real and who is fake. Can impossible heroes really exist?"

Meanwhile, people are speculating on new companion Danny Pink will be introduced in "Doctor Who" season 8 episode 2.

"Danny comes across as a very likeable character; he seems like a kind-hearted, albeit slightly awkward man with a good sense of humor, and a bit of a mysterious past," writes Doctor Who TV contributor Luke Gwalchmai. "Samuel has good chemistry with Jenna Coleman, and I think Danny and Clara will be a bit smoother together after they get to know each other and spend more time together. It should help Danny be a bit less nervous around her!"
