State Of Decay Xbox One release date is set for next year!

State of Decay is currently available for Xbox 360 and PC but starting next year, Xbox One owners will finally get a chance to grab their own copy of the hit zombie survival game, particularly the Year One Survival Edition. It was confirmed that State of Decay for Xbox One will have a release date at some point during spring of 2015.

The post on MajorNelson.com says, "...Xbox One owners will have the opportunity to experience the definitive version of State of Decay with the Year One Survival Edition."

Undead Labs is porting State of Decay to Xbox One in 1080p resolution. Furthermore, Tech Times mentioned that State of Decay for Microsoft's latest game console is "expected to have enhanced effect and animation that takes full advantage of the now generation hardware."

The game's Year One Survival Edition will bring in the original State of Decay together with the previously released DLCs for the game, Breakdown and Lifeline. Gamers can also expect new content once the State of Decay for Xbox One arrives.

The upcoming new contents have not been been specified yet but a report on Load The Game, citing Undead Labs, mentioned that there will be "some new mission types" for State of Decay.
