Brown Eyed Girls member JeA is the first girl group member to become a producer.

Their new digital single, A Midsummer Night's Dream, was produced by JeA herself, making her known as the 'popular producer.'

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" was a song that she thought up while she was at the beach with her friends. She wanted to express the loneliness of the ocean. This group's great vocals and sexy images created a 'sexy ballad' concept for this album.

JeA has created her own songs for her solo album as well as Gain and 2AM Jo Kwon's duet song, "We Fell in Love," slowly making her way up as a producer. In an industry that doesn't have many female producers, she is slowly becoming known.

With an interview with OSEN, she commented, "In reality, women are more emotional and deep, so writing songs should be easier for us. Producing is also actually quite hard. After doing it myself, I realized that there is so much to do. I hope for all women producers to succeed."

She continued, "I want to find my own style and I hope to work with other artists in the future."
