Facebook Messenger And Heads Up, The Top Most Downloaded App At Apple Store! What Makes Them The Best Messenger Apps Around?

A social media app Facebook Messenger and game Heads Up! dominate the iTunes apps chart this week.

In the report of Toronto Sun, Facebook Messenger and Heads Up! were the most downloaded apps in the Apple Store.

The top free app this week is Facebook Messenger, an app that allows user of Facebook to chat with their friend. Despite of some issue with the user complaining about it, the Facebook Messenger has release version 10.0 on August 19 showing an improvement in image and video viewing.

In second spot is the FaceQ of Erick Kuo, which allow users to create cartoon avatars by combining facial features.

The third on the list is Wipeout 2 mobile game, followed by the Ketchapp's The Tower and lastly the Electronic Arts' Madden NFL Mobile.

Moreover, on the paid section, Heads Up! of Warner Bros climbed as the most downloaded app this week. It has a version 2.3 that was released on July 7 and currently available which costs $0.99.

The second on the list is the Disney's Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, a game where the player play as the Disney mouse and walk through the castle to save Minnie. It has a version of 1.0 that was released on November 21, 2013. The app costs $0.99.

Furthermore, the third most-downloaded app this week is Afterlight Collective, Inc's Afterlight, a photo-editing app that has 15 adjustment tools, 66 textures and 59 filters to choose from.

Rounding out the top five paid apps are Filth Start Labs LLC's Sky Guide: View Stars Night or Day which costs $0.99 and Sleep Cycle alarm clock of Northcube AB which costs $0.99.
