Henry Cavill As Clark Kent Revealed; ‘Batman VS. Superman’ Star Dons Costume Of Man Of Steel Alter Ego

Henry Cavill as Clark Kent is now imaginable once again, thanks to an image of the 31-year-old British actor donning a costume portraying uperman’s alter ego. The “Batman VS. Supeman: Dawn Of Justice” star was spotted on the set of the film in Detroit, Michigan getting into character Tuesday, the MailOnline reports.

The Hollywood hearthrob was seen wearing a plaid shirt under a brown jacket carrying a bag and Clark Kent’s signature black-rimmed glasses.

“With a sombre look on his face, the star was surrounded by actors playing law enforcement officials as he stepped out of a local building being used as Gotham City Jail,” the MailOnline writes.

Cavill is reprising his role from “Man of Steel” in the superhero sequel. Last month he was seen donning the Superman costume once again for the movie.

He was seen once again with the famous blue and red costume when he took part with co-star Amy Adams, who’s also reprising her role from “Man of Steel” as Lois Lane in the upcoming film, in taking up the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

The pair decided to do the challenge behind-the-scenes and on set. Adams explains in the short video that she was nominated by Darren Le Gallo, which the MailOnline describes as her partner since 2002 and the father of her daughter Aviana.

The 40-year-old celebrity then shared that Henry has been nominated by multiple individuals before nominating all her siblings to do the challenge next. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge aims to raise awareness for the debilitating Lou Gehrig’s disease.

True to his character as Superman, Herny’s ice bucket challenge involved more than one bucket of ice. After being dumped with several ice buckets, Cavill said, “I’m so cold.”

Filming for the superhero sequel is expected to continue until the end of summer in Detroit, before moving to Chicago. “Batman VS. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is set to be released on March 25, 2016.
