"The Legend of Korra" Book 3 has just concluded, and the release date for the DVD and Blu-Ray has been confirmed.

According to Avatar the Last Airbender Online, the release date for "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 is set for December 2, 2014, coming much sooner than the previous DVD release for the Nickelodeon series.

In addition to the release date, much of the DVD and Blu-Ray extras have also been unveiled. Reportedly, this will include audio commentaries for all 13 episodes for the Blu-Ray, as well as 13 animatics. 4 audio commentaries and animatics will be included for the DVD release.

There will also be behind-the-scenes features which are still largely unknown as far as details.

"Cool, I guess," commented a fan on Avatar the Last Airbender Online. "Well, we're certainly getting stuff a lot faster this time around. At this rate, by this time next year we'll already have the Book 4 DVD and Blu-Ray too!"

Since DVD and Blu-Ray release dates often come close to the release of the following season, fans are anticipating an air date that could come as soon as the beginning of next year.

Recently, it's also been confirmed that the final Book of "The Legend of Korra" will have an air date set for January or February of next year in Australia.

According to IGN, Australia will air Book 3 change in October on TV, and all the episodes will also appear online after the premiere. This could allude to the fact that the same will occur when Book 4 gets an air date.
