Time has indeed healed the wounds of the past. Such is the statement recently publicized by English actress Liberty Ross regarding the Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders cheating scandal which ruined her marriage.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson break-up likewise took place following the "Twilight" star's short-lived affair with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director.

In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, the former wife of Sanders talked about forgiveness: "People need to learn to forgive. I have no problem with anyone involved. I'm completely compassionate, I really am. No life is perfect, we all have our problems and issues and I believe that it's good to be true to who you are."

Ross likewise thinks that her marriage with Sanders wasn't a success because they have stopped growing together: "Rupert and I were together since we were very, very young. I was 18 - essentially, I married my first boyfriend. I always used to say we were more like a brother and sister anyway. We'd been together for so long, we weren't really evolving together as a couple so much."

The formerly tormented party also deemed the incident horrifying because of how overexposed she was. She admitted that being alone for a month helped her in moving on. She also gave credit to her children, Tennyson and Skyla, for inspiring her to be strong.

Ross is now with music industry executive Jimmy Iovine and despite their ongoing romance, she wouldn't tie the knot yet: "I believe in love and I have no problems with marriage, but I need this time to be strengthening for me and I wouldn't commit to anyone until I know I am the absolute best person I could be."
