Singer-songwriter Sarah Miles will play the famed New York City club The Bitter End on Sept. 6 in a record release performance for her third album, "Hear Me Out." The award-winning pop singer produced the album with more than a little help from her fans, who helped pay the production costs through a kickstarter campaign. 

Last year, Miles challenged herself to write a song a week for this album and has been previewing the the new material as she tours the country.  The singer is now ready for audiences to "hear her out."

Sarah's song "Something About You" was featured on NBC's, "The Voice." The singer has toured with acclaimed singer-songwriters such as Sister Hazel, Tyler Hilton, Teddy Geiger, Tony Lucca, Ingram Hill, Matt Duke, Jesse Ruben, and Pat McGee.

"Hear Me Out" was produced by Brian T. Murphy.

"We were doing a lot of writing together initially and through this experience I knew right away that he was the one to produce the album.  Something just clicked with Brian," Miles said in a statement.  "I could tell that he got my sound, and I loved the way he played the piano; with such feeling.  When we played together in sessions, everything sounded the way I wanted my music to be heard.  Brain introduced me to some talented musicians that ended up playing on the album.  The instrumentals sound so perfect with my melodies, I'm just thrilled.  He really nailed it."

"When I sing, I don't want to sing, if there's no one there to hear...hear me out, it's all about the hours and hours I spend writing and performing, where I am just not sure enough people are going to hear my music as an independent artist," Sarah said.  "As if I'm possibly writing for no one, which is a depressing thought.   I also spill my guts in the song, Rigid Frame. It's about a desperate sort of heartbreak;  "If you don't love me anymore, If I can't give you what you're looking for, I can pick it up, pick it up, pick it up again."  I sing and write about real stuff in my life and my hope is that my fans and hopefully new fans will connect to the lyrics and melodies."
