Jill Scott nude photos were leaked as the soul singer became the latest celebrity to get hacked.

The semi-naked photo went viral on Wednesday night, Aug. 3 as party of what is being called the largest celebrity photo hack in history. Two naked selfies were posted, but Scott says that only one was actually her.

Philadelphia native Jill Scott took to Twitter to say "I def took the 1st pic w/ a robe; weight loss chronicle but the 2nd, sorry freaks, is not me. I wish I had that space between my thighs."

Scott tweeted that the semi-nude photo was taken to document her weight loss process.

The rumors that are going around say that leak was possible because of an alleged flaw with Apple's iCloud.  After the hacked naked images went out, celebrities like Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton and Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence issued statements saying the images invaded their privacy.

The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating the source of the leaks. They opened a probe to track down the hackers responsible for online nude photos of bunch of A-list actresses and female entertainers over the past few weeks.

The leaked nude photos were part of a large-scale hacking targeting more than 100 celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence and Kim Kardashian. Naked pictures Kirsten Dunst, Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice, Cara Delevingne and Rihanna, were published on website.

Kate Upton's lawyer, Lawrence Shire, released a statement to Us Weekly saying "This is obviously an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton's privacy. We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible."

In an email to Buzzfeed, a spokesperson for Jennifer Lawrence wrote "This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."

Some of the celebrities who were hacked have said that the photos were fakes. Olympian McKayla Maroney, singer Ariana Grande and Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice all told their Twitter followers that that images were not authentic.
