Game Of Thrones Season 5 Spoilers [UPDATE]: Bran Stark WILL Remain, Hodor Will Not; Isaac Hempstead-Wright Confirms Filming [VIDEO]

Contrary to previous speculation, Isaac Hempstead-Wright's character Bran Stark will be in "Game of Thrones" season 5, as he recently confirmed he was filming for the upcoming season. However, Kristian Nairn revealed that his character Hodor will not appear in "Game of Thrones" season 5.

According to IGN, Kristian Nairn spoke to Australia's 7.30 and dished that he will have a year off from "Game of Thrones," as Hodor will not appear in season 5.

"We're not actually in Season 5, by the way. We have a season off. We have a year's hiatus... Solely because, I imagine, our storyline is up to the end of the books. So I get a year off now to do Rave of Thrones and gallivant all over the world," Nairn said.

However, WinterisComing.net reports that perhaps Nairn was incorrect about Isaac Hempstead-Wright's hiatus, as Isaac previously confirmed he was filming "Game of Thrones" season 5 while speaking in a promo interview for his new film, "The Boxtrolls." Watch the video below! About three minutes in, he's asked, "What's next for you?" Isaac makes no mention of his absence from "Game of Thrones" season 5.

There are various possibilities: perhaps Nairn meant that Bran has very few scenes in season 5, and Hodor has none. Or perhaps Hempstead-Wright filmed for "Game of Thrones" season 5 but producers decided to cut out Bran's scenes and put their storyline on hiatus until season 6.
