‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Cast: Robert Downey Jr. Endorses Solo Movies For Black Widow, Hulk And Hawkeye! So Who’s Going To Die In The Film?

The "Avengers: Age of Ultron" cast is littered with A-listers playing beloved characters. The dilemma for Marvel is that you can make an argument that each character deserves a solo movie-which is what their ringleader, Robert Downey, Jr. is saying.

But first things first, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow character is next in line, and she has recently proven that she can kick some A-list butt. This is not just in the movies but also in the box office. "Lucy" recently beat Dwayne Johnson's "Hercules" and Tony Stark is quick to point out the achievement of her voluptuous colleague.

Speaking to USA Today: "Doesn't Scarlett deserve a break? Look, I think that the interesting thing particularly after Guardians with Zoe (Saldana), (or) even from the first Iron Man where Pepper was kind of this really - to me the Iron Man franchise would never have taken off without (Gwyneth) Paltrow. There's something about her that grounded the story. She's not your typical lady in a superhero movie, and then by Iron Man 3 she's swallowing serums and putting on suits and kicking (butt) and all that stuff."

In other words, it's time for a female superhero movie as far as Marvel is concerned. But Stark is not finished. He talks the Hulk, who was rumored to be on the movie assembly line. Yet he also mentioned Hawkeye, who is on and off the death list.

"The funny thing is honestly at this point everyone deserves a franchise. I think Jeremy Renner is - when folks see the Avengers: Age of Ultron he's just a rockstar, a bada-. And Ruffalo is pumped. He does great (work). I'd like to hear them talk even more seriously about a Hulk franchise, because that's been one of the toughest ones to get right. But I'm sure that my parent company is feeling expansive and and bold after the summer they've had."

So who's really going to die in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" as Joss Whedon mentioned 'an end to a franchise?'

The chances are getting dim and while that should be a reason for celebration, the stakes are not getting higher. Well, we'll find out if Joss Whedon is a gambling man on May 1, 2015 while we wait for Black Widow, Hulk and Hawkeye to get their films.
