The overall look and display of the tablet mirrors the look of the Asus Transformer Book T100. The T200TA’s screen has a 1366 x 1768 pixel display, micro HDMI and micro USB ports, a headset jack, and a 5MP camera. The unit is packed with a 38Whr battery.

As for the keyboard section of the Asus Transformer Book T200TA, it doesn’t have its own battery, but provide a full-sized USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports plus an Ethernet jack. Some models of the unit also have a 500GB hard drive in the keyboard dock.

Prices for the Asus Transformer Book T200TA for sale for $500.00-600. The unit is one unit that does deliver in terms of specs and built. It’s performance, however, is yet to be determined.

The new 2-in-1 tablet is arriving from the heels of a well-received unveiling of the Asus Transformer Book T100A. The latter has been praised for its portability and budget-friendly price tag.

The Asus Transformer Book T200TA is already available on major retailers, including Amazon.com.

Asus has made great in-roads in the tablet market, offering these devices on very competitive price. The company is the world’s fifth-largest PC vendor based on 2013 unit sales, right after Lenovo, HP, Dell and Acer. It has a total brand value of $1.3 billion.
