Moto 360 Price, Specs, Release Date: Motorola Smartwatch Gets Premium Metal Band, Costs $50 More

The Moto 360 price, specs, release date were all announced last week, and as a testament, the wearable device got sold out right away after just a few hours following its launch.

But now, it appears that Motorola is really geared to make the Moto 360 very successful, at least before Apple unveils its iWatch which is already a couple of years due.

The Moto 360 will come with a new metal band, which would be more sleek and premium-looking compared to the rubber strap of the initial version.

So how much do you need to pay for the Moto 360 with the metal band? In a report by GSM Arena, about $50 more which means the total price for that version of the smartwatch would be $300.

However, in the report, only Verizon will offer pre-orders for the device at the moment.

Strangely, the Moto 360 with the metal band will not ship until November 11, while the version with the rubber strap should be available much earlier.

If you are willing to pay $300 for a smartwatch running on Android Wear, and packs a gorgeous circular design with a metal band, and you can wait until November, then you better sign-up for pre-orders through Verizon.

Still, you can get the Moto 360 with the rubber strap for $250, and you can buy the metal band separately for $80.
