ALS Ice Bucket Prank: ‘The Price Is Right’ Host Drew Carey And Other Celebrities To Give $30,000 Reward To Identify Bullies Who Shamed An Autistic Boy With Urine-Filled Bucket

The ALS Ice Bucket challenge has a meaningful motive but several teenagers in Ohio turned the challenge into a prank. "The Price is Right" host Drew Carey cannot tolerate the injustice done to a 14-year-old boy that he is willing to donate $10,000 as a reward for those who can identify the teenagers involved in the prank.

Instead of being splashed with cold water, the teenagers reportedly filled a bucket with urine, feces, saliva, and cigarette butts. They then poured the bucket over the boy and filmed the whole thing as per WTSP.

"WTF? Just saw this. Horrendous. These kids should be arrested and expelled," wrote Carey on his Twitter page.

"If the Bay Village PD wants to start a reward fund to find who did this, contact me. I'll donate $10,000," he continued. The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant also promises to donate $10,000 to Autism Speaks if the teenagers will be located without the need for reward.

Actress and model Jenny McCarthy, who has a son with autism, also echoed Carey's sentiments and promised to give the same amount of money to locate the perpetrators of the prank. Her husband Donnie Wahlberg likewise did the same thing which increased the reward to $30,000.

David Mensen, the victim's father, said that his son was helpless at the time of the prank. He said that his son was asked by his so-called friends to go to a house and do the challenge clad only in his underwear.

"It shouldn't happen to any child with special needs or not," said the father to WTSP. The boy reportedly remained quiet out of fear and embarrassment. Fortunately, one friend decided to stand up and reveal what took place.

Meanwhile, the Bay Village School District, which held a vigil for the victim, said that the students involved in the incident would be penalized. Bay Village Police Chief Mark Spaetzel also announced the same thing once the students have been identified.

The ALS Ice Bucket challenge originally aspires to raise awareness for the motor neuron disease which up to now has no cure yet.
