Neil Patrick Harris is finally married to his true love, David Burtka!

According to the report of the Stuff, the television and stage actor Neil Patrick Harris has married his 10 years partner, chef David Burtka in a private ceremony in Italy over the weekend.

"We happily confirm that Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka were married in Italy in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their close friends and family," Harris' rep said in a statement in the report of the Billboard.

The couple also confirmed the wedding had taken by place via social media, Neil Patrick Harris posted a photo on Monday on a social networking site Twitter saying, "Guess what? @DavidBurtka and I got married over the weekend. In Italy. Yup, we put the 'n' and 'd' in 'husband'."

In the report of the Stuff, the Neil Patrick Harris wedding with David Burtka was private which attended by family and close friends only.

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka wore matching custom Tom Ford tuxedos.

"The nuptials were officiated by the pair's friend, Pam Fryman, who was a producer/director on How I Met Your Mother, the sitcom in which Harris most recently starred," according to the report of the Stuff.

Also, the couple's friend Elton John was present at the event and performed at the reception of the wedding.

The couple has two children, Gideon and Harper, who were twins.

In 2012, Burtka said they were very "co-dependent" couple.

"He's my lifeline, in an amazing way. Without him, I can't breathe," Burtka said. "The biggest thing is that he makes me laugh."
