Community Season 6 Cast And Premier Date: Alison Brie, Joel McHale, Yvette Nicole Brown, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong, And Jim Rash All Confirmed, Russo Brothers To Direct Episode 1 PHOTO

"Community" Season 6 will begin filming soon, and long time fans of the show are estatic.

Some fans were worried that not all their favorite actors would return to the show. Specifically, Uproxx noted that there was some questions regarding Alison Brie's participation in particular. Recently,Community writer Ryan Ridley had responded on Twitter to a question about whether Brie's character, Annie, was in the script for the season premiere with "Not sure yet."

According to IGN not only is Alison Brie under contract for Season 6, so is Joel McHaleYvette Nicole BrownGillian JacobsDanny PudiKen Jeong and Jim Rash

As for Jonathan Banks and John Oliver were technically guest actors and not under contract, and both of them are busier with these days, so their status is still unconfirmed.

Dan Harmon tweeted the following to allieviate everyone's fears, " The rumor about Alison Brie not returning is utterly, 100 percent false. I'd add a joke but I don't want to be unclear. She's coming back!"

In an interview with Yahoo Dan Harmon said, " Yeah cameras will be rolling on November 17, and we're going to start with writers September 8. So yeah, I don't know what Yahoo plans to do with what we deliver to them on what schedule - that's up to them - but it would seem to me that we will start to see a new season of Community sometime in the new year."

In other news, Joe and Anthony Russo will return to Glendale and direct the premiere episode of Community Season 6. The two brothers have directed 33 episodes of the show, including the pilot.

However, since Community began the directing brother's careers have really taken off, as they recently filmed the blockbuster "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"

In an interview conducted during the release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier DVD and Blu-Ray, the brothers were asked about their return to direct in Community.

Anthony said, "We will be returning. We're going to do the first episode [of Season 6] for those guys. We're going to have a little fun with that episode. [Community executive producers] Dan Harmon and Chris McKenna are cooking up something very cool for us...The quality is always so high for the scripts on that show, so it's very exciting to tear into one of those scripts as a director."

Cameras will be rolling on November 17, and the writer's room will get to work September 8.

Harmon told Yahoo tv blog "If there's benefits to being on Yahoo instead of NBC I think it's going to have a lot to do with the fact that, now, watching the show on your computer isn't a crime. It's not going to be discouraged, and if we do tie-ins with the characters as real people that are living in a post-millennial age where everyone's existing and connecting on computers, I think that Yahoo over NBC will be able to roll with those creative choices. If we want to do special things that are interactive or things like that... it won't just fall on deaf ears. I think the old broadcast networks are still looking at the internet like this new thing, and certainly Yahoo is not. So there might be some really cool ancillary benefits to belonging to a company that understands the new world as much as the show does."

"But as far as the length of the show, the pacing of the show, the tone of the show, I think it would be a mistake to suddenly have everyone saying the word "sh--" every five minutes or smoking cigarettes or running people over with their cars or having the episodes be 40 minutes long. I think people are probably feeling a little nervous about the show that they love. A lot of these fans, they grew up on the show; it's been on for six years, so there were people who were 12 years old when they started liking the show and are actually going to be voting soon and have had this show in the background their entire adult lives... I think they're already worried enough about the show changing because it's changing venues, so I want to make them feel comfortable, first and foremost, and then I want to surprise them with how much better the show can be, hopefully, now that it's out of its cocoon."

The release date for "Community" season 6 is still unknown, but filming begins in November. Check back for more "Community" information as it becomes available.
