In a shocking turn of events, "The Legend of Korra" Book 4 release date has been announced!

According to co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino on Nick.com, "The Legend of Korra" Book 4 will release October 3, which is less than a month away!

"It's coming out October 3, get ready," said DiMartino. "Every Friday, on Nick.com and the Nick app, you can watch a new episode. So stay tuned. It's going to be awesome."

Although early predictions for "The Legend of Korra" Book 4 release date were hinting at some time later this year, fans are shocked at how quickly season 4 will come.

"I’m equally shocked," commented Tumas on Avatar the Last Airbender Online. "On the one hand, it’s great not to have to wait too long for the next Book this time. On the other, it’s sad to see this brilliant story end so soon! It also feels like Nick just want to get this off their chests and be done with it all."

"All in all, I have to admit I’m a bit disappointed at how fast things are going all of a sudden."

"I was shocked too," wrote worldstraveller. "It still hasn't totally sunk in yet. It may be the last 'Korra' series, but didn't they say after, maybe they would make a movie after the series finished?"
