Game Of Thrones Season 5 Spoilers: Will Book 4 And 5 Of ‘A Song Of Ice And Fire’ Be Condensed Into One?

New "Game of Thrones" season 5 spoilers suggest that the upcoming season's storyline will include the plots of both book 4 and book 5 from the "A Song Of Ice And Fire" novels, WinterisComing.net reports.

"Game of Thrones" season 5 is going to be "totally different," according to the publication.

"We knew that the Battle Of Blackwater would end Season 2, we knew that the trial and escape of Tyrion would end Season 4. These were the endings or turning points of the books. The show was a reasonably direct adaptation of the source material, and the source material told a mostly straightforward story of the same characters moving through the same chronology in the world of Westeros," WinterisComing.net writes.

But now, book 4 of "A Song Of Ice And Fire," titled "A Feast For Crows," takes place mostly in the Southlands of the Seven Kingdoms, while book 5, "A Dance With Dragons" covers the same chronology in the North and in Essos.

This means that certain characters only appear in one book or the other - if "Game of Thrones" season 5 stuck close to "A Feast For Crows," many characters from previous seasons would not make a single appearance.

"A season without Peter Dinklage's Tyrion? Not likely happen, and, based on shooting, clearly not actually happening," WinterisComing.net writes.

This leads to the latest spoiler speculation: will books 4 and 5 be condensed into a single season?

We know one thing for sure: Bran's storyline is deviating quite rapidly from the chronology of the other characters' arcs. Bran Stark's storyline has already gone through many of his events in "A Dance With Dragons."

As we previously reported, contrary to previous speculation, Isaac Hempstead-Wright's character Bran Stark will be in "Game of Thrones" season 5, as he recently confirmed he was filming for the upcoming season, suggesting book 5 will indeed be a part of this upcoming season.

Isaac previously confirmed he was filming "Game of Thrones" season 5 while speaking in a promo interview for his new film, "The Boxtrolls." About three minutes in, he's asked, "What's next for you?" Isaac makes no mention of his absence from "Game of Thrones" season 5.

However, Kristian Nairn revealed that his character Hodor will not appear in "Game of Thrones" season 5.

Perhaps Bran has very few scenes in season 5, and Hodor has none. Or perhaps Hempstead-Wright filmed for "Game of Thrones" season 5 but producers decided to cut out Bran's scenes and put their storyline on hiatus until season 6.
