Apple Market Share: It's Apple Against The World As Manufacturers Hit Company For Launching Huge Smartphone

Right after the Cupertino giant announced its new devices which would certainly affect its Apple market share, several manufacturers have been throwing their backlashes on the company.

The latest of these mocks is from Taiwanese manufacturer Asus, which took a different approach from the ones issued by HTC and Samsung.

In its tweet, Asus posted a picture of a real apple, pertaining to Apple, and six Asus Zenfones on the other end. It placed the caption: "The best 6 is the one everyone can have".

Asus definitely has a point considering the fact that the new iPhone 6 price begins at $199 on-contract while the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus can be bought for $299 on-contract. In the tweet, Asus meant that the price where an iPhone 6 can be bought is equal to the price which can buy six Asus Zenfones.

Last Tuesday, HTC hits Apple for joining the bigger, more stylish, better spec'd market late. However, it kept a friendly tone all throughout, welcoming the Cupertino manufacturer to the big smartphone party.

On the other hand, Samsung was more on the offensive side, as it quoted the late Steve Jobs when he said that 'no one is going to buy a big phone'. For the past years, Apple has also been firm in its stand that the iPhone 5's 4-inch display is the perfect size for a smartphone.

However, everything changed this year, and considering that Samsung has been in the phablet game for four years already, this does not come as a surprise. From being a smartphone that is 'too large', the Galaxy Note series has become one of the most popular lineups in the industry.

We'll wait and see whether other manufacturers like LG, Motorola and HTC would also release their own jabs against Apple and its new smartphones.
