'Magic Mike' 2 Trailer Will Not Include Alex Pettyfer? Channing Tatum Striptease Movie Sequel Started Shooting In Myrtle Beach

Magic Mike 2 is actively gearing up and it is said to feature Myrtle Beach on its trailer!

News13 reports that the crew was spotted in Grand Strand during the Labor Day weekend filming Channing Tatum's strip movie sequel.

The team was all over the area where they were seen filming in Sky Wheel, 2nd Avenue Pier, Slingshot, and Plyler Park.

While no actors were spotted at the location, it has been confirmed that the entire cast will be in town come October.

However, rumor has it that original cast member Alex Pettyfer might not be included in the upcoming sequel.

Apparently, Channing Tatum fired his former co-star Alex Pettyfer from the movie. "Alex is dying to reprise his role, but Channing is on the fence," an insider reportedly told OK! Magazine. "It's going to take a lot of sucking up for Alex to get his part back."

Tatum allegedly finds the 24-year-old hunk as rude and difficult to work with.

Thus, he is now on a hunt to find a replacement for Pettyfer. Report has it that Adam Sevani, whose character Moose appeared four times in five of "Step Up" movie series, is interested in taking a role in the striptease film.

During his interview with Vulture, Sevani admitted that he's open to the idea.

"Yeah sure!" he gladly said when asked if he'll accept an offer for the film. "I'd have to beef up and gain some muscle and that's no problem, but I haven't seen [Magic Mike]."

He then promised to watch the first movie to be prepared just in cast Tatum would ring him for a role.

Will Sevani be in the upcoming Magic Mike 2 trailer? That's the question that we'll soon find out.

Back in 2012, the two reportedly had a falling out and that Tatum had forbade Pettyfer from joining the cast for a photo shoot on Entertainment Weekly.

"Those around them tried to mend their relationship, but Channing doesn't want anything to do with Alex," a source told OK! Magazine at that time. "Channing said he didn't want to do [the shoot] if Alex was there. Alex is known in Hollywood for being rude and difficult."

The 33-year-old hunk divulges that Magic Mike 2 movie plot will take on the concept of a road-trip movie with more struggles but, still packed with fun and excitement. "This one, we want there to be a lot of conflict and a lot of struggle", he explained, "but we also want there to be a shit ton of fun, of ridiculous stuff you'll never see in a movie again."

While Pettyfer is being rumored to be having problems with reprising his role in the planned sequel, Matt Bomer on the other hand, expresses his interest in returning on Magic Mike 2 cast as Ken according to E! News.

"Those guys, we had such a criminally good time working together," Bomer said. ""We just hit it off. It was such an ensemble mentality, which didn't have to be the case under those circumstances.

"[Channing Tatum] is so great and gracious and [Matthew McConaughey] was such a great leader that everybody had a great time," the actor continued. "So if it were to come together under the right circumstances with a good script, which I'm sure [Reid Carolin] is putting together, it'll be really fun to do."

Magic Mike which was released on 2012 sky rocketed to box office making $113.7 million. This has been the most lucrative film ever made by director Steven Soderbergh and is now on its way to becoming a Broadway musical.

However, this time around Soderbergh's go-to assistant, Gregory Jacobs, will be helming the sequel.
