Pokemon Bank Compatibility Confirmed As New Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire Trailer Arrives: Special Edition Nintendo 3DS To Release In Japan

A new Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trailer has been released, and it confirms a variety of information regarding the upcoming Nintendo release.

For the most part, this Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trailer showcases what has already been unveiled in the latest CoroCoro leaks, including Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre's abilities and new movies.

From the trailer, we know that Primal Groudon will have the Desolate Land ability, which blocks all Water-type moves and changes the weather to extreme sunlight. Meanwhile, Primal Kyogre's ability is Primordial Sea, which blocks Fire-type moves and changes the weather to extreme rain.

Their new moves are called Origin Pulse (Primal Kyogre) and Precipice Blades (Primal Groudon), and the new Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trailer showcases some nice gameplay footage of the pair.

Interestingly enough, the new Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trailer also showcases Rayquaza. The CoroCoro leaks hint that Rayquaza holds a secret related to Mega Evolution, which some fans are taking as a hint that it will receive either its own Mega Evolution, or a Primal form like Groudon and Rayquaza.

Meanwhile, Serebii also reports that Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be compatible with Pokemon Bank as well as the Global Link, which is a relief to X and Y fans.

In addition, a special edition Nintendo 3DS will also be reportedly available in Pokemon Centers in Japan, which will come with Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire pre-installed into the units.

Stay tuned for more updates!
