Sara Gilbert pregnant: Sara Gilbert, co-host of The Talk, announced that she was pregnant during a live episode on Tuesday, September 9. This is Sara's third child. It is the first child for her and her wife, Linda Perry, 49.

"Roseanne" actor and "The Talk" host Sara Gilbert announced the news on Tuesday's episode of the morning chat show The Talk. The 39-year-old mother-of-two was supposed to take part in the show's Face Your Fears segment. Gilbert was supposed to have a cinderblock broken over her stomach.

Gilbert explained that the "Facing Your Fears" segment was a bit much for her condition. What condition?

"I really do believe in facing your fears and doing things that make you uncomfortable, but I actually can't do the dare because I'm pregnant," Gilbert said. "I feel good, I feel really good...at first I was really tired."

Sara Gilbert's co-hosts were as excited as Sara and spread the word over Twitter.  The Talk on CBS! Tweeted "BIG BABY NEWS! Sending congratulations & love to @THEsaragilbert!!!! #TheTalk."

Sara thanked her fans and co-hosts for the outpouring of happy support, saying on Wednesday's show "I feel funny about people applauding me. I really didn't do that much. Honestly... so special. I hoped you guys would be excited, but the level of excitement...Some of you said we feel like this is our baby and I really feel like it is your baby too."

Sara had once told Sheryl Underwood, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Taylor and Julie Chen that she was always scare having a cinderblock broken over her stomach and the segment was supposed to help her overcome the fear. But she told her co-hosts "I actually can't do it, because...I'm pregnant!"

Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry, 49, got married in March. Her cohosts on the Talk colleagues as well as the  actress Juliette Lewis, were there at the wedding. Gilbert had already told the talk show about Perry's wedding proposal.

In April 2013, Gilbert said "I'm sitting there listening and I'm kind of daydreaming and I'm thinking like, 'If I ever proposed to her this would be an amazing way to do it.' The people picnicking next to us pull out string instruments from under the blanket, walk over and they start playing [The Cure's] 'Lovesong.'"

This is Sara and Linda's first baby. Gilbert has two children-son Levi, 9, and daughter Sawyer, 7- with her ex Allison Adler.
