Samsung Galaxy A SM-A300 Release Date, Specs: Entry Level Model For The Galaxy A Series Arriving Q3 2014 With 2 Other Variants; Features Of Metal-Framed Smartphone Revealed!

Samsung Galaxy A SM-A300 release date is set for this third quarter of 2014.

According to Tech Times, Samsung is preparing to launch the Samsung Galaxy A series which consists of 3 new smartphones. Generally, the Samsung Galaxy A smartphones will have a metal-framed design, similar to Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Note 3.

One of the smartphones included in the Samsung Galaxy A series is the SM-A300 model, the entry level variant among the 3 upcoming devices. And according to the latest news about Samsung Galaxy  A SM-A300 release date and specs, the device showed on GFXBench.

As reported by SamMobile, the benchmark shows that the Samsung Galaxy A SM-A300 specs will include a 4.8-inch display with 960 X 540 screen resolution. The upcoming smartphone will be running Android 4.4.4 KitKat update at launch.

As for the hardware specs, Samsung Galaxy A SM-A300 will come with a "1.2GHz Qualcomm processor with 1GB RAM and 5GB of internal memory." Furthermore, the smartphone will also have a graphics processing unit, the Adreno 306 GPU.

The Samsung Galaxy A SM-A300 will also feature a 7 MP primary camera with 1080p Full HD video recording. The secondary cameral will have 5-MP lens.

Samsung Galaxy A SM-A300, together with the remaining 2 smartphones for the Galaxy A series, the SM-A500 and the SM-A700, will reportedly hit the market at some point this 3rd quarter of 2014. However, no specific Samsung Galaxy A series release date has been announced yet.
