Last Of Us Movie Rumors: The Last Of Us, after its success in the gaming console PlayStation and made waves with gamers because of its zombie/"infected" storyline - which most people like - is confirmed to hit the big screen soon as confirmed by the game creator Neil Druckmann.

"It's an adaptation of the story of The Last of Us," he confirmed with IGN. "As far as where we go and how we make it fit into a film, how it takes into account the unique properties of film... We're not sure yet. We're only just scratching the surface."

Listed were "The Practice" star Dylan McDermott, "Grey's Anatomy's" Jeffrey Dean Morgan, "Wolverine", who is portrayed by Hugh Jackman - which shows to be the favorite of the fans and Josh Brolin, who is set to play as Thanos in the upcoming "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" Movie are reported frontrunners to play Joel in the film.

Besides Ellen Page, "Maleficent" star Elle Fanning, "Game Of Thrones" cast Maisie Williams and "Kick Ass" star Chloe Grace Moretz are up for the Ellie role. Fans, however, said that Moretz and Page would be the perfect fit for the role.

According to reports, The Last Of Us Movie is said to follow the story of the game. Director Sam Raimi revealed in the recently held Comic Con the few details about The Last Of Us Movie.

"It's gonna be a great character journey, a great love story and great horror fiction," he said.
