The 22-year-old British fashion star will be playing Margo Roth Spiegelman in the film, a mysterious high school student, who captures the curiosity of her former childhood friend Quentin Jacobsen, played by Wolff.
The story follows Quentin as he follows clues left by Margo, a girl he has always pined after.
While movie-goers are more likely to be familiar with Wolff, who recently rose to attention starring as Isaac in "The Fault in Our Stars" and Fred in "Palo Alto," this is not the first acting role for Delevingne either.
Cara was also featured in "Anna Karenina" (2012), "The Face of an Angel" (2014), and will also star in the upcoming film "Pan" based on the children's classic.
The screenplay for "Paper Towns" is being written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, who also penned "The Fault in Our Stars," "The Spectacular Now," and "500 Days of Summer."
The project will be directed by Jake Schreier.
