Fans looking for "Winds of Winter" news are turning to online community forums to get their fix, even as author George R. R. Martin busies himself by promoting "The World of Fire and Ice."

According to Westeros forums, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) is still trying to be in control of King's Landing but the death of his uncle, Kevan Lannister, will only serve to complicate matters. Worse, Jamie has no interest in all the politics and will be far away, a report by IB Times said. 

Cersei will have to atone for her sins and that includes a public humiliation that involves her walking naked through the streets, said the "Winds of Winter" news.

Earlier, according to the report by TMZ, the production was given approval to film Lena Headey's topless scene from the Church of St. Nicholas and into the streets of the capital city of Dubrovnik. However, city officials have banned her from stepping into the church.

That act, however, might pay off as some fans have speculated that she will be allowed to become regent again, that is with the approval of the High Septon of the Faith of the Seven. Others have pointed out that Cersei would be better off leaving King's Landing with her son and go back to Casterly Rock, especially with the looming invasion by Aegon Targayen.

"This strategy would leave Tyrells in control of the problems in King's Landing while she enjoys real power through her son, even if she is not at the capital," the IB Times added.

Meanwhile, fans raring for more "Winds of Winter" news would be disappointed to know that author George R. R. Martin is more interested to promote his latest book "The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones."

Author George R.R. Martin will be at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan on October 26 which is dubbed as his only US appearance to promote the book.
