Renowned American recording artist, Britney Spears was accompanied by AJ Calloway at the New York Public Library on the occasion of launching her line of lingerie called the "intimate Britney Spears".

Britney has been working on her passion project for year and a half. "I've been involved with all the details, the colors, the vintage. Actually, ten years ago I went to a vintage place and I saw a boutique with the most amazing lingerie and sleepwear I've seen in my life, and I was like, I want to do that. I've got to do that, so I did..." She said.

The pop star even went ahead and modeled the line. Britney described the the lingerie as "stuff that just makes you feel good about yourself... really soft, really comfortable pieces."

Furthermore, Britney confirmed that she is busy with her new music. The pop star said, "very slowly, but progressively." Also, Britney expressed her wish to do something different, "I want to do something very artsy-fartsy, something I've never done before..." She also disclosed her wish to collaborate with a list of artists including Iggy Azaela and Katy Perry.

There are strong rumors being circulated in the media that indicate the probability of the artist extending her stay in the city. Currently, she is busy performing at the Planet Hollywood Casino Resort, in Las Vegas, as part of the 'Britney: Piece of Me show.'

However, being mom to her sons, Sean and Jayden who are are all set to celebrate their 8th and 9th birthdays, is Britney's most cherished project. Talking about her sons fondness for skateboarding, she said, "They're totally into skateboarding right now, that's their new thing... they want a new ramp. They know all the new terms for skateboarding and all the new moves." "It's like, over my head," she said laughing.
