Michelle Rodriguez and Zac Efron split reports have hogged the headlines in recent weeks but "We Are Your Friends" actor appears to be unaffected as he is all smiles on the set of his new film. Meanwhile, the "Fast & the Furious 7" actress shies away from the public eye as she has always guarded her privacy.

The British tabloid MailOnline barely touched on the Michelle Rodriguez and Zac Efron split as it noted that the actor was having a lot of fun after publishing a series of photos on the set of "We Are Your Friends."

"Zac - who recently split from actress Michelle Rodriguez - revealed his rock hard abs as he paraded his fit frame on set," the tabloid said while showing a photo of the "Neighbors" star topless on the beach and hamming it up with director Max Joseph.

"It was quite a different scene from earlier in the day, where Zac had appeared more macho while filming a fight scene," it said.

After the Michelle Rodriguez and Zac Efron split, the 36-year-old actress stayed away from public events. It has been reported that she allegedly flew into Cara Delevingne's arms after the breakup, but those reports remain unconfirmed.

Zac Efron is reportedly dating "We Are Your Friends" co-star Emily Ratajkowski, or better recognized as the topless girl on Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" music video.

Michelle Rodriguez is rarely seen in public after the breakup but her Instagram posts, although quite infrequent, show hints of where she is. Last week, she's apparently in Venice as she uploaded a photo of what appears to be a clouded sky. She also captioned the photo: "Coming down to normal living found some beauty in Venice sky."

Whether she meant Venice, Italy or the city of Venice in Sarasota County, Florida could not be ascertained.

Earlier this month, the "Fast & the Furious 7" actress posted photo on her Instagram page showing her wearing only in bra in Nevada, which is the first time she was seen in the public since the Michelle Rodriguez and Zac Efron split. The photo caption read: "I survived Burning Man guys...That 50 foot statue behind me burned to a crisp 3 days ago...I love this place."
