Sylvester Stallone Death Hoax: Actor Dies In Car Accident Not True; Fans Are Looking Forward For Last Rambo

Reported to have started on August 25, the Sylvester Stallone death hoax has since then became viral online in time with his worldwide promotion of the new movie “The Expendables” and an upcoming movie Rambo 5. On a Facebook Page, the Rocky star is said to have died in a vehicle crash while on vacation in Queensland.

The following text on Christian Post is said to be found on Facebook and has been shared by to at least one million people, statistics reported by Mediamass.

"Actor Sylvester Stallone died in a single vehicle crash between Ipswich and Willowbank in Queensland as confirmed by Royal Queensland Police - August 25, 2014," the post read. "The accident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. (UTC/GMT +10). Sylvester Stallone is believed to have been in the area while on vacation. He was identified by photo ID found at the scene. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this accident."

Another text as reported by ibtimes goes like this The description read: "[R.I.P] Sylvester Stallone Died in a Horrible Car Accident! His driver was drunk did'nt saw truck"

Just like any other death hoax, the link containing the news directs a user to another page which instructs him/her to answer a survey before a video of the car accident is shown. The webpage just contains a press button leading to the survey site.

Meanwhile, the 68-year old icon is seen with another showbiz veteran, Arnold Schwarzenegger as they are promoting ‘The Expendables’ in Macau some days ago.

Just before the fame of the blockbuster fades out, news is out saying that Stallone will be directing Rambo 5: Last Blood, the last sequel of his long-standing signature film franchise Rambo.

Digitaltimes said that Rambo 5 to follow the usual formula of the past films wherein Rambo’s sole mission is to annihilate enemies. In this last sequel, the war veteran Rambo is going to face the bad guys who are the Mexican cartels.
