Megan Hilty is officially a mom! The "Smash" actress and her husband Brian Gallagher welcomed a baby girl on Thursday, Sept. 18.

The pair's daughter, who was born in New York City, has been crowned with a unique, yet classic-sounding name: Viola Philomena.

"There are no fruits or animals or food in general for her name," joked Hilty in a June interview with E! News.

The Broadway star revealed that she and her husband had been circling a few names for their little girl but were keeping mum about the options until the birth.

"We have three possibilities and we are not telling anybody," said Hilty. "We're just gonna meet her first and see which one fits her."

Hilty and Gallagher appear to be thrilled about becoming parents. On Tuesday, the couple shared a photo on Twitter of them outfitting their car with a brand new car seat.

The addition came just in time for the arrival of baby Viola.

"We're very, very excited," Hilty told E! a few months earlier, revealing that she was "most excited about him being a dad," gesturing to Gallagher. She also gushed that she was ecstatic "to get to do this with the bet partner in the world."

And while the new mom once told Us Weekly that she loved being pregnant because she could "eat and sit around," Hilty is likely looking forward to indulging in some of the treats that she was forced to miss out on over the last 9 months.

"I want everything I can't have: Sushi, tuna fish. I was never a sweets person, and now I have to have at least one cookie every day. Lots more sweets than I'm used to," dished Hilty. "I make my husband's coffee in the morning, just so I can stick my face in and smell it before I give it to him, because I gave it up. I know you can have stuff in moderation, but I'm leaving it all behind," she added. "I really want the whole bottle of wine. Like, what's one glass good for?!"

No doubt Hilty will soon be toasting to the birth of her baby girl. Congrats to the happy family!
