Sad news for "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" fans. Mama June Shannon and Sugar Bear Thompson have reportedly called it quits. E! News confirmed the break up on Friday, Sept. 19.

Mama June, who rose to fame on the TLC reality show, released a statement to the network concerning the split.

"Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship," said Mama June. "We are taking things day by day, but regardless of what happens, the girls will always be our number one priority. We want to thank y'all for your support."

Mama June and Sugar Bear exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony this May, pledging their love for one another in front of friends and family, including June's four daughters, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, and Anna "Chickadee" Shannon.

Around the time of the ceremony, Mama June gave a statement that was oddly foreshadowing of the couple's impending break up.

"Never settle for a man who doesn't treat you right," said June. "If a guy doesn't love everything about you, move on! There are plenty of other fish in the sea." 

Both Mama June and Sugar Bear were spotted without their wedding rings on Friday.

According to E! News, the cause of the break up may involve Sugar Bear's wandering eye. Mama June is believed to have stopped wearing her ring when she learned that her mate was perusing online dating websites.

The publication also claims that a profile on the site plentyoffish.com seems to fit Sugar Bear's description. The user, who goes by the handle Georgiafighter31054, wrote "i love to hunt fish and ride 4wheelers and have a good time.  i luve muddy Boggs and love to ride in the mudd."

Georgiafighter31054 also revealed on his profile that he has been in a relationship for "over 10 years" and lists that he is currently single.

Mama June is reportedly planning to move her children out of their Georgia home once filming is complete for the next installment of the reality show in order for her girls to be closer to relatives.
