Lizzie McGuire Reunion? Hilary Duff Contemplates Doing A "Lizzie: Where Are You Now?" Show; Updates Us On Her Life And Discusses Her New Album [PHOTO]

Hilary Duff has recently dropped her newest single, "All About You," and now she is even hinting at retuning to the show that got her famous - "Lizzie McGuire". In an interview with the Huffington Post, Duff revealed what she's been up to lately as well as the inside scoop on her favorite song from her new album.

The show "Lizzie McGuire" started in 2001, and ran until 2004. Duff eventually took some time off for herself, and is now mom to Luca Cruz Comrie. She has amicably split from hockey star Mike Comrie, and is happy that she has been able to enjoy her life thus far. She stated, "I had toured for like 5 years, so once I was done with my last tour, I was just like, 'I'm done. I need a break. I need to go away. I need to live.' And I did," highlighting her reasons for not making an immediate return to music and television.

However, now she's back. Duff is set to start in TV Land's production "Younger" alongside actress Sutton Foster. "Younger" is written by Darren Foster ("Sex and the City"), and will feature Foster as 40-year-old single mother Liza who tries to pass herself off as 26 when she re-enters the workforce. Duff will Kelsey, Liza's friend and young co-worker. It is set to premiere this fall.

Duff is also working with Trident to support Oral Health America's Smiles Across America (SAA) campaign. She stated, "I think hearing about the work that Trident does with Smiles Across America got me inspired because oral health care is really important for kids. I have a two-year-old, and I know how important it is to get them to brush their teeth and how challenging it can be," explaining her motives for joining the project.

What about her new album? Duff commented, "The album is very different... There is a song called "Belong" that I really love. It sounds cheesy when I talk about it, but it's not cheesy at all, and it's more about just not waiting for anything."

As for the possibility of a Lizzie McGuire reunion, Duff said, "I love it! I would be totally open to it. My schedule is a little busy right now, but um... why not?" She stated further, "Maybe a 'Lizzie: Where Are You Now?' like 10 years later."
