Arrow Season 3: Oliver Fights For Queen Consolidated; Felicity Takes On New Job

"Arrow" season 3 spoilers are hinting of another fight for Oliver Queen, this time in the corporate arena as he defends Queen Consolidated. Felicity, meanwhile, will take on a new job to address her dire financial situation.

The CW network released the official "The Arrow" season 3 spoilers as it reported the crime in Starling City has never been lower but it's not going to be a happy ending for Oliver Queen.

"Oliver thinks he can finally balance being both the Arrow and Oliver Queen and asks Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) out on a date. However, when a new villain (guest star Peter Stormare) emerges, who has claimed the name Vertigo from the recently deceased Count, Oliver is caught off-guard and someone close to him is hurt," the synopsis reads.

"Oliver and a newly suited up Roy (Colton Haynes) take on the Count. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) becomes a father, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) is promoted to Captain, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) joins Arrow's inner circle," the synopsis added.

In order to make ends meet, Felicity will accept a part-time job at a tech store, while Oliver will be fighting to regain control of Queen Consolidated in the face of a looming takeover from the "charming Ray Palmer," played by Brandon Routh.

Meanwhile, Rose Moore in her "The Arrow" season 3 spoilers for Movie Pilot said that the person who will be hurt after Oliver is caught off-guard by Vertigo is more likely to be Felicity.

"It's a classic superhero story; the vigilante attempts to love, the woman he loves gets hurt because of their relationship, he decides to reign it in again. It's classic, and sad, and prolongs the tension of a relationship that should happen, but may never," she wrote.

Moore's piece also noted the just released poster for "The Arrow" where Oliver Queen is seemingly walking away from Starling City, which could either be symbolic or literal.
