Users of South Korean Samsung Galaxy S3 can now install Android 4.4.4 KitKat update!

The official Android 4.4.4 KitKat update has finally been released for the South Korean version of Samsung Galaxy S3. According to Android Geeks post, the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update comes with version number E210SKSUKNI3.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy S3 brings in bug fixes from Google as well as improvements to the device's performance.

The official update is compatible only to Samsung Galaxy S3 in South Korea, which should bear the model number E210S. Furthermore, the firmware is rolled out via Over-the-air update. After receiving the OTA notification, Samsung Galaxy S3 users can simply confirm the download and install the update.

Make sure to have stable Wi-fi connection when downloading and installing Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 E210S.

However, it may take a while for the OTA notification to reach the South Korean Samsung Galaxy S3. To manually check if the update is available, go to Settings > General > Updates > Check for updates.

Aside from the OTA update, Samsung Galaxy S3 users who wish to install Android 4.4.4 update can also accces the firmware by the Samsung KIES desktop tool or use the manual installation process using the Odin tool.

Those who will decide to manually install Android 4.4.4 KitKat update should make sure that the battery level is at least 80 percent to avoid power interruption issues.
