iPhone 6 Release Date: New 4.7" And 5.5" iPhones Getting Official in More Countries, Can It Post A New Record For Apple?

For Apple fans who are already looking at the future with the new iPhones, it is your time to rejoice as both smartphones will be available in more countries starting today.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus will both be available for some markets which include Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and UAE.

Last week, the new iPhones were officially launched in the US, UK, Japan, Australia, Germany, and New Zealand among others.

In case you missed Apple's event a couple of weeks ago, the Cupertino giant announced its two biggest smartphones in the company's history. While the Apple phone has been self-sufficient in its previous years, this time around it seeks to directly take on its Android opponents.

At 4.7-inches, the iPhone 6 is an ideal midranger alternative for former Android users, while the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus is a sure contender against the heavyweights in the Android competition right now such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, LG G3, and the Oppo Find 7.

We'll expect Apple to release the two phones in more countries next week.
