Gordon Ramsay News: Premiere Chef Proud of Daughter Matilda For Upcoming ‘Tillywood’ Cooking Show; Says He Considers Retiring Cooking Career And Spends Time With Daughter In Kitchen

Gordon Ramsay is thrilled with the news that his 12-year old kid Matilda will host her first ever cooking show  named "Tillywood" a children's channel CBees. The said TV series on cooking has now been currently filmed in LA and is set to be released in 2015.

"She has a TV programme at 12. She has all the makings of a great chef. If you had put me in front of a camera at age 12, even then, I would have told you to f*** off" the 47-year old chef famous for his temper and straightforward nature told Daily Mail.

He further expressed his admiration towards the Tilly's potential talent in cooking saying:  "It was just fascinating watching her, saying: 'Dad's food is posh, but my food is real food', and showing this to her friends."

During the interview, the Hell's Kitchen chef also expressed long term possibilities of minimizing his career in television and having a fun daddy-time cooking with Matilda.

"In 20 years time, I want to have fun with Matilda in the kitchen, not sit there with my Zimmer frame, breathing oxygen and worrying about my heart bypass."

Reportedly, chef Gordon has been very conscious about his health and has spend considerable effort running, cycling and swimming in his free time. in the same interview, he told the Daily Mail how the stress of being a cook could lead to early deaths like what happened to the prominent David Dempsey who died in 2003.

"I don't think I've slowed down. But I'm not working harder - I'm working smarter - that's an important turning point for every chef. I don't want to stand there and sweat and panic and worry - I want a life outside the kitchen. I'm in the best shape of my life."

Recently, the Scottish chef successfully opened his first restaurant in Hongkong which is said to be born out of an inspiration from his mom's choices

"I look at my restaurants and I think of one person - my mum. Would my mum be more comfortable in Bread Street Kitchen or in the three-star Restaurant Gordon Ramsay? Bread Street Kitchen 100 times over, because Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is not where I came from', he said.
