"Helix" Season 2 has just released its first trailer and, well, were gunna need a bigger boat, and some mosquito spray.

Helix season one featured a team of CDC scientists heading to an isolated Antarctic complex combatting a conspiract to wipe out the worlds population with a disease that turns you into a kind of super zombie. (If you are noticing some similarities between "Helix" and "The Strain" well, there are a ton) 

According to a new Syfy press release, "The second season of Helix finds the doctors of the Centers for Disease Control, still haunted by the Narvik outbreak and the events that took place in Arctic Biosystems, investigating a deadly outbreak of a new disease on a Windjammer cruise ship. Their investigation leads them to a mysterious island inhabited by a cult with the hope of creating a utopian society."

Steven Weber of "Wings" will be playing the cult leader.

The season 2 trailer features sail boats, forests, creepy houses and green locales full of groups of people carrying torches. So, obviously, the virus has gotten out

The brand new season has a release date sometime in January of 2015.
