LG Smartwatch: Korean Manufacturer Preparing G Watch Successor With A SiM Slot? Tipped To Be Headed To Verizon

The rise of the wearable device is inevitable, and with that manufacturers continue to spend millions of dollars developing them to capture the interest of the market. That is exactly the case in the new rumored LG smartwatch that is currently under development.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a new smartwatch from LG recently passed the FCC in the US and was described as a Smart Watch + CDMA.

The leak reportedly came straight from FCC, as with other leaks and rumors in the past.

In the report, the device will probably run on Android Wear OS, and should boast some of the features and functions found in previous wearable devices from LG.

However, with a real phone function which should make it a standalone device for text messaging or even calling, the new rumored LG smartwatch is definitely in a group of its own. In the report, the device will arrive for Verizon.

While we don't know yet how the device looks like, LG should more or less make its appearance similar to previous models to capture the LG market.

Since Apple announced its 'iWatch', a lot of people who have been talking about it for years became quiet. It did not have the revolutionary design everyone expected from Apple, but it does offer a lot of features.

It looks LG, and other wearable device manufacturers will do whatever it takes to shift the attention once more to their respective devices.
