The highly anticipated trailer for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will allegedly make its debut in Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar" film. The rumor brings together the union of two of the most awaited movies in the coming months.

According to the rumor that was first broken by Film Pro Russian and translated by Movieweb, the claim states:

"For fans of comic book movies, there is another motive to go see 'Interstellar.' The first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron will be attached."

Of course, this rumor has not been confirmed by Marvel Studios or Disney at the moment, but the implications would be explosive and it would be a 'win-win' situation for both films.

Movieweb points out that this is exactly the same marketing strategy that Marvel Studios employed for the first "Avengers" movie that churned out  $ 1.5 billion in worldwide gross:

"It has been speculated that Marvel and Disney are planning a marketing strategy for Avengers: Age of Ultron that is similar to the first Marvel's The Avengers. The full-length trailer for that blockbuster debuted in October of 2011, a year before the film's release. Will the same happen here?

Marvel is known for releasing its trailers online at least a week before they hit theaters. If they follow their own pattern, that puts the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer in front of us the last week of October."

The release date for Christopher Nolan's space opus "Interstellar" is November 7, 2014. It stars Matthew Mc Conaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Matt Damon and Casey Affleck among others. It is the most eagerly awaited sci-fi movie that is not from the comic book genre.

If the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer does debut in "Interstellar" it would be a treat since both films appeal to similar fans (sci-fi). However, "Interstellar" may constitute a more 'mature' audience and Marvel Studios may be targeting that demographic with a darker themed sequel.
