What happened on "Cedar Cove" last week?

On "Secrets And Lies," last Saturday's Episode 9 of Season 2, "Jack doubts himself in the newsroom, and the ramifications are disastrous. Elsewhere, Olivia looks past Rebecca's bad attitude and puts her faith in her; a new ranch hand ignites jealousy in Grace; and Cecilia moves into Olivia's house."

According to TV Ruckus, "CEDAR COVE is winding down to the Season Finale, but this week the biggest concern could be Jack and Olivia's relationship: Could it be winding down, as well? It has taken time for Olivia to get back into dating, get back into life, after losing her own son and subsequently having her relationship fall apart. Trusting Jack to be honest with her and not break her heart has not been easy. And, now it seems that Jack may bring Olivia's worst fears to life, with secrets and lies becoming more and more a part of their relationship, unbeknownst, of course, to Olivia. He has only shared his relapse with his ex, Jeri; what does that say about his true feelings for Olivia? What will it say to Olivia when she ultimately finds out that the woman he feels most comfortable sharing his most important secrets with is not her? According to Hallmark Channel, tonight on CEDAR COVE: In Stand and Deliver, Olivia (Andie MacDowell) worries that Jack's (Dylan Neal) new job is too intense when he stays up all night to write, never guessing the return of his addiction is to blame. As Jack nervously tries to hide his drinking from everyone but Jeri (guest star Julia Benson), he excitedly pursues a bigger position at the paper in Seattle-one that will prompt him to consider keeping another secret from Olivia. Meanwhile, Justine (Sarah Smyth) receives a decision letter from grad school as she attempts to sort out her feelings for Luke (Jesse Hutch), just in time for a surprise visitor. Eric (Tom Stevens) takes his anger out on Rebecca (guest star Cindy Busby) after Shelly (guest star Hayley Sales) ends things for good, but his problems don't end there. When Rebecca finds out Warren (Brennan Elliott) is avoiding his slimy business partner Dick (guest star William DeVry) and dodging the FBI, she attempts to warn Eric that his involvement on the record could hurt him. But Eric's stubborn refusal to listen lands him right where Dick wants him. And as Grace (Teryl Rothery) and Olivia investigate a distressing case of cyberbullying, Peggy (Barbara Niven) finally comes face-to-face with the man from her past she fears the most. Then, while Jack continues to fall deeper into his addiction, an unsuspecting Olivia proposes a new plan for their future that will leave him speechless."

According to next week's finale episode synopsis of "Cedar Cove," called "Resolutions And Revelations" (Oct. 4), there's drama in the air in the penultimate episode of Season 2. TV Guide reports that in Episode 11, "In the second-season finale, Jack's distant behavior has Olivia searching for answers. Meanwhile, Jack opens up to Jeri; Warren's business dealings put Eric in a sticky situation; and Bob learns about Peggy's painful memory."
