Her career in Hollywood has been in major leaps since her casting in The Pirates of the Carribeans and for being nominated for the Oscars. And for her recent role in the psychological thriller, 'The Imitation Game', the 29-year old actress is interviewed by Glamour magazine for her astounding success and for the things she has learned and hoped for before she turns 30.

"I'm not actually worried about turning 30. Because, honestly, my early twenties were not much fun. Then after 25, things just got better and better. Maybe you stop caring as much about where you should be going and what other people think - which is all the sh** that makes you very unhappy early on," The British actress told Glamour.

The Begin Again actress also slightly shared her views on being an actress and public figure and shared an advice to fans to choose simpler and more stable paths in life like being a doctor or a lawyer.

"It can be completely heartbreaking for most people who do it, because the amount of rejection is enormous. And it doesn't matter what kind of person you are, it's impossible for that not to take a toll. Even if you're successful, you still have to go through a s---load of rejection."

Acting is introduced to Keira Knightley at an early age as her parents are engaged in theater with Keira's father as an actor and her mother as playwright. She started her acting career at 16 in Bend It Like Beckham and had an Oscar nomination when she turned 20 for Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.

In a separate interview with Mirror, the Anna Karenina star talks about how she deals with criticisms and avoid being neurotic.

"I don't google myself - that was the problem before 25. Not that I did it all the time, but I certainly saw enough to say, 'Oh you shouldn't look'. I mean, you don't need to look, it is not helpful."
