It's a boy for "Bachelorette" Ashley Hebert and her husband J.P. Rosenbaum! The couple just welcomed their first child on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

And the couple named their new son Fordham Rhys Rosenbaum.

"Both mom and baby are doing great and we are so, so happy to welcome little Fordy to the world!!!" Rosenbaum told Us on Tuesday. "Cutest little baby on the planet!"

According to the couple, the newborn arrived weighing 7 lbs, 2 oz, and measured 18.5 inches.

The proud parents revealed at their baby shower in July that they would likely be in agreement on coming up with a name for their son, although making a final decision wasn't quite so easy.

"The good thing is that J.P. and I have very similar taste in names, so hopefully we can finalize soon," Hebert told Us at the time.

Ashley and J.P., who fell in love in 2011 on ABC's "The Bachelorette" were married in a televised ceremony in December 2012.

It should be no surprise then that the couple learned the sex of their child on live television.  

The pair appeared on an ABC after show during the latest season of "The Bachelorette" and the mom-to-be had an on-air ultrasound to determine the baby's gender.

As Hebert prepared for her baby boy's arrival, she shared some of the details of her pregnancy on social media.

Just a few days ago, the soon-to-be momma posted a photo of her fully pregnant baby bump.

"Sometimes I surprise myself," wrote the dentist on Instagram. "This has to be the last weekend!!?!!? #frontheavy #bbayr."

The proud dad also shared a photo of his wife on Instagram.

"Soakin' in these last moments with my gorgeous wife & the #Rosenbump," wrote Rosenbaum.
