"The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies" plot spoilers reveal that Bard the Bowman will get more screen time as he fulfills his destiny to slay down Smaug the dragon for the safety of his village. Meanwhile, cast Billy Connoly gushed over Peter Jackson's film.

Peter Jackson teased "The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies" plot spoilers to Total Film when he said that they are expanding the universe to give each major characters a chance to shine.

"We're developing more story with the elves and with Gandalf," he said. "We're developing the character of Bard the Bowman [Luke Evans]. We're able to expand what was there, bring in a little bit extra to the mythology and open it up a bit."

The director revealed more "The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies" plot spoilers as he said that they are trying to mix "a lot of conflict and resolution" in between the battles so the film won't just be total action.

"There's still a plot with the characters to follow, even though they're surrounded by fighting trolls and orcs and things."

Meanwhile, Billy Connolly talked "The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies" plot spoilers to UK's Yahoo as he claimed that he will be talking Dwarfish in a Glaswegian accent.

He revealed that he learned the strange language on the set and immediately forgot after the scene.

"It's like wearing a Volkswagen. [It took] three hours a day [to apply]. Can you imagine, having your face stuck on? It's extraordinary the way I look. My eyebrows have got braids in them, jewellery in my beard, tattoos on my forehead. If you're standing and you've got iron boots on and a big axe, it gives you a certain cachet. You're not going to say, 'excuse me, can you tell me the time, please?'" Billy Connolly said, talking about his character.
