It looks like Lizzy Pattinson's run on "X Factor U.K." is done.

Although Robert Pattinson's older sister wowed the reality show's judges in her first audition, she was cut by Simon Cowell on Sunday night. But the 31-year-old personal assistant is not letting this roadblock get her down. 

"Thanks for your lovely messages," Lizzy wrote on Twitter. "I had laringytus at judges' houses, but did the best I could...the show must go on! Best time ever."

The singer also took to Facebook to thank her fans. She admitted that the experience was "challenging and scary," but that that overall it was "an amazing experience."

"Looking forward to bringing you some new songs soon," she assured her followers.

Lizzy Pattinson showed off her soulful pipes during her audition, where she sang Bonnie Raitt's "Feels Like Home."

Music seems to run in the Pattinson family's DNA. The singer's "Twilight" star younger brother Rob, 28, is also a musician. In fact, Robert contributed a few songs of his own to the "Twilight" soundtrack and sang in the film "How to Be."

However, the "Rover" star truly admires his older sister for auditioning for the televised singing competition. He recently told Grazia Daily that he was "ridiculously proud of her."

"I would never have the balls to do that, ever, in a million years," said Robert. "I can't believe she's done it. So, it's amazing."

Although Lizzy could have played up the fact that her brother is a mega-famous film star, she chose to pursue her dream of a singing career on her own merits.

"[She] didn't mention she was related to him to any judges or producers" a source told Mirror. "It's important to her she does not fall into the trap of just becoming 'Rob's sister.'"
