Prince William And Kate Middleton Baby Number Two To Be Named After Princess Diana? Excited Parents Already Purchased A ‘Closet Full Of Little Pink Dresses’

To honor the memory of Princess Diana, Prince William and Kate Middleton's baby number two will reportedly be named after the late princess. While the baby's gender is not yet confirmed, royal author Andrew Morton claims that the couple already has a name if they'll have a daughter.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge want to name their daughter Elizabeth Diana Windsor.

"Close friends to William and Kate have told me that if it is a girl they want to name the baby after Diana. They discussed girls' names before George was born and now they're hoping the next one is a girl so they can carry out their wish to honour William's mother. They're not too thrilled at the thought it will be shortened to Princess Di. But it won't change their minds," claimed Morton to The Sun.

However, Morton added that several members of the royal clan might be "furious" with their decision considering the tension which previously occurred between the late princess and the royal family.

Prince George's parents are reportedly eager to have a daughter as per one royal insider.

"Kate has already purchased a closet full of little pink dresses and other outfits for her new princess. [She] is sparing no expense furnishing the nursery with a modern crib, traditional rocking chair and an electric mix of furnishings," the insider told Life and Style magazine.

A healthy baby is all that matters especially with the Duchess of Cambridge's delicate pregnancy. Due to her recurring morning sickness, the brunette beauty did not make it to the launch of the Clore Art Room at Barlby Primary School in London last October 1.

Her husband similarly had to represent her for Malta's fiftieth Anniversary of Independence. It was supposedly her first overseas engagement alone but had to back out still because of her condition.
