Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart seem to have it all figured out when it comes to staying friends with your ex.

The 45-year-old singer and her dancer ex-boyfriend were spotted having dinner at La Conversation in West Hollywood, California on Monday night, Oct. 6.

According to E! News, Lopez and Smart arrived to the restaurant separately. The "American Idol" judge wore a black top, matching black pants, and heels as she quietly attempted to keep a low profile.

While the publication reported that the couple was spotted at the West Hollywood restaurant on Tuesday, it appears that the true meet-up was Monday night. Photos of Lopez at the restaurant were published by the Daily Mail, which also revealed that the "On the Floor" singer's six-year-old twin children, Emme and Max, were in attendance.

Lopez and Smart have been spotted together several times since they broke up in June.

"They remain great friends," a source told E! News.

Lopez refuted claims that Smart had cheated on her. In fact, the pair attempted to keep their split as friendly and low profile as possible.

"They were hoping to be more low key about things," a source told E! News. "He was slowly going to move out and that would be it." 

In a September interview on the "Meredith Vieira Show," Lopez revealed that she is enjoying single life.

"I'm just being on my own. I feel like I need that right now," she told Vieira. "I've been in relationships kind of back to back my whole life and I just needed time."

Lopez added, "I need time to just chill and just know me and enjoy my kids and actually make time for other friends instead of just the relationship thing."
