"Hunger Games: Mockingjay" actress Jennifer Lawrence finally speaks out about "the fappening" in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, revealing that the leaked nude photos were meant for the eyes of her then- boyfriend Nicholas Hoult - and not for anyone else.

When the leaked nude photos were taken, Lawrence told Vanity Fair was in "a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he's going to look at you."

Though her ex boyfriend Nicholas Hoult didn't comment on whether or not the pictures were sent to him, he did open up about "the fappening" and Jennifer Lawrence's leaked nude photo scandal.

On "Good Day New York," the host asked Nicholas Hoult about the pictures.

"It's shocking that things like that happen in the world," he answered diplomatically.

"It's a shame," he added.

"It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime," Lawrence continued to Vanity Fair. "It's disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change. That's why these Web sites are responsible."

The 24-year-old Oscar winner said, "Just the fact that somebody can be sexually exploited and violated, and the first thought that crosses somebody's mind is to make a profit from it. It's so beyond me. I just can't imagine being that detached from humanity. I can't imagine being that thoughtless and careless and so empty inside."

As we previously reported, Jennifer Lawrence and ex boyfriend Nicholas Hoult met while filming "X-Men: First Class" in 2011 but broke up in January of 2013 after two years of dating - and after filming ended. They then got back together in July 2013 while filming "X-Men: Days Of Future Past," before breaking up again in August - after filming ended.

Now Nicholas Hoult is reportedly dating Kristen Stewart, his "Equals" co-star, and Jennifer Lawrence is dating another Brit, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

A source revealed to E! News that the break up between Jennifer and Nicholas "was very amicable."

"They spent a lot of time apart because of work, and it was difficult on their relationship," the insider said.

A long distance relationship isn't easy on anyone, and especially not on celebrities who are juggling making films, fame, and maintaining a love life.
