Iggy Azalea is not married. The Australian rapper was forced to deny rumors that she is legally hitched, when news broke that her ex-boyfriend Hefe Wine, also known as Maurice Williams, had filed for divorce from Azalea.

According to the "Black Widow" hip-hop star, Wine is after one thing... money.

On Friday, TMZ reported that Wine, who reportedly dated Azalea for several years while the blonde rapper was under the age of eighteen, filed a claim that he and Azalea previously entered into a common law marriage in Texas.

Wine reportedly said that the couple "agreed to be married, holding themselves out as man and wife and began residing together in the State of Texas on or around September, 2008."

Azalea was quick to fire back, claiming that her ex made the legal move in order to trade on her current success.

"It's disappointing that this thief, felon and fugitive is continuing to use the media to attack Iggy as part of his desperate and despicable attempt to keep himself in the press," Azalea's rep told E! News.

"Iggy's federal court complaint froze Mr. Williams' ability to trade on her fame by profiting from music he stole from her, so he has resorted to elevating his predatory relationship with a 17 year old girl into a sham 'marriage' claim unsupported by any certificate or evidence."

In September, the "Fancy" hitmaker filed a lawsuit against Wine for using her name to promote songs that she recorded early in her career in an attempt to sell the music.

In addition to the copyright infringement lawsuit, Wine also tried to shop around a sex tape that he claims he made with Azalea while they were together.

Regarding this Wine's most recent divorce claim, Azalea also took to Twitter to address the matter directly.
