She has a name!

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes reportedly named their new daughter Esmeralda Amada Gosling. So how did the famous couple decide what to call their baby girl?

Mendes gave birth to the pair's daughter last month on Sept. 12. And while the family has remained private about their new bundle of joy, E! News confirmed infant's name on Thursday.

A source reportedly told the publication that Mendes and Gosling named their daughter Esmeralda Amada because it means "beautiful emerald" in Spanish. Mendes allegedly wanted the baby girl's first two names to reflect her Hispanic heritage.

The name Amada also means "beloved" in Latin.  

Mendes played a character named Amada Juarez in the 2007 film "We Own the Night," so perhaps that was the inspiration for her daughter's middle name.  

According to another source for E! News, the couple, who began dating while filming "A Place Beyond the Pines" together, is happily delving into their new roles as parents.

"They've settled so well into their new family of three," said the source. "Ryan is very hands on and has been taking the baby after the early morning feed so Eva can sleep in a bit. He sings the baby songs-they are both madly in love with this child."

Yet another insider told the publication that baby Gosling has her parents wrapped around her tiny finger.

"They're both great, but exhausted. They know it's going to be a little while before the baby adjusts to a schedule," said the source.

"Eva is so happy she's a mom, their baby girl is perfect," added the insider. "They are at home now with the baby and Eva is feeling great she says."
