Jeremy Lin News: 'Linsanity 2.0' Arriving To Los Angeles Soon? 26-Year-Old Floor General Being Tutored By Kobe Bryant, But Gets Injured

If you're a Lakers fan, then you would surely be pleased with how Jeremy Lin has been playing. Through two games, Lin has put up solid numbers for Los Angeles.

During the game against Denver, Lin was almost non-existent on the scoring end, only making 1 point. However, he posted double figures in assists, involving team mates through out the game.

In the Lakers' losing effort against the Warriors, Lin has slowly brought back his usual self, finishing with double digits in scoring.

In a new report by Bleacher Report, it appears even Kobe Bryant has now taken notice of the talent in Lin and is reportedly 'mentoring' the former Harvard standout.

During an interview, Lin stated that Bryant has been teaching him some of the most basic but important details in basketball, especially his defense. And the 36-year-old veteran does recognize the younger player's skills and attributes which can make him an effective defensive stopper.

"He has the speed, he has the length, he has the size. He has never had to take on that challenge, but I think he can be a great defensive player."

As far as Lin is concerned, he will continue learning and taking from Bryant whatever the Lakers superstar will throw at him. Lin has been considered as an above average player on the offensive end, mainly due to his quickness, court vision, and ability to penetrate and spot teammates.

However, he has been considered a poor defender. But Bryant and coach Byron Scott will be there to help him work on that.

In a new report today, Lin has injured his ankle during a team practice. In a tweet by Scott, Lin's foot has been stepped on and he appeared to be in 'little pain'.
